Forum (e-mailing list)

http://sfhomeschoolers.org/forum

To post a message, send an email to sfhomeschoolers@yahoogroups.com.

To better organize incoming messages, an email reader that can display messages by thread (topics) is strongly recommended. Try Gmail, for example.

Alternatively, you can read the messages neatly organized by topics at the Yahoo Groups website. After logging in, click "Conversations" then "Topics".

Facebook groups

We have two groups present on Facebook.

(1) San Francisco Homeschoolers Group is a parallel forum for the general members, especially those who like to use the Facebook platform. The discussions on Facebook tend to be more lively as it is more conducive to posting of photos and quick comments. All events mentioned here are also cross-posted on the Yahoo e-mail forum.

(2) SF Homeschoolers Teens Group is specifically set up for discussion of teens-related activities and issues.

Any member interested in joining these groups, please simply send a request to join on the corresponding Facebook pages.

Park Day

This is our one regular event where members can meet face-to-face and kids have a chance to socialize.

Homeschoolers are invited to meet and play every Tuesday 12 P.M. to 3 P.M. at a different city park in San Francisco.

Check our Event Calendar for locations.

GroupMe instant messaging

Our most efficient way of instant communication, on smart phone or desktop. Most busy on Tuesday during Park Day.

To join, open an account on GroupMe.com and send a request to join (membership@sfhomeschoolers.org) with your identifying information on GroupMe.
